Just Some Stuff

This is my blog and I’ll write when I want to, write if I want to, write if I want to …

You would blog to if something happened to you !!!!

There are so many things to blog about. BlogTV is a cool new site that we are doing shows on like the Coffee and Beer show and several others. Good times. I can’t wait to see how many people get on the show next time. We almost held the record for the most viewers of all time. We do hold the record for the most complaints on one show. And the record for being booted the most times during one show.

Ahhhh … aint life grand? Well check out the site and check out the MySpace for Coffee and Beer. Should be a good time.

Colon Cleansing

Tuesday, June 19th, 2007

What do you think about all of these Colon Cleansing products that are out there starring you in the face? There are so many products out there who can decide on which one works and which ones do not?

We have been looking at the colon health for a while now trying to decide on the best method of cleaning out the years of McDonalds from our bodies. I have found that there are too many products to choose from and maybe we will just need to flip a coin.

If you are familiar with Colon Cleansing then you should have heard about the product “Colon Blow”! They have a humorous way of dealing with the excavation of your butt and they want the whole world to know that they are the best. They have been around for about eight years on the net now and the product is all natural just like everyone else. They take an aggressive yes funny approach to cleaning out your colon.

There is also Dual Action Cleanse Now that boasts the same results but a little different approach. Their method to a cleaner body is as seems to be that they want to cleanse the whole body all at once. A total body detoxification. That sounds like a sure fire method to get your body clean but don’t forget that colon cancer is only second to lung cancer. And we are looking to cleanse the colon first so this may be a secondary method of cleansing we will look at later on down the road.

Either way we want to get the pooper working and cleaned out first. I like the funny method that Colon Blow uses to get you to buy their product plus there is a free T Shirt involved and I just can’t pass that up.

Time for Redecorate

Wednesday, June 6th, 2007

Remember us talking about redoing the studio and putting it in the house in the extra room? Well that worked out very well. However … there is a cooling issue. The room that we have everything set up in is small and only has one vent that leads the cold air into the room. And it is a small vent probably made for a mouse to stay cool. So we are going to get our carpets cleaned and move the studio into the house area where we will have full access to the air conditioning.

This will give us a ton of room and we can probably have a couch in that area also when we are done which will be cool cause then we can have guests on our podcast shows and they can chill on the couch.

The only downfall to this is that we will have to keep it small and there will be no more TV in the studio. We have three computers that will be doing all of the studio work so there is really no need for a TV, but it is fun to turn around and knock out some Ratchet and Clank while we are taking a break.

Non the less we will be getting the carpets done and the floors will be spotless again soon. So we will be moving all this stuff around again for the millionth time. I can’t wait to see the floors all cleaned up and nice looking again. I remember when we moved in here the carpets where spotless .. then some areas started to come through again. Now it’s our turn to get them done and sparkling again.

Sunset Buffet

Sunday, June 3rd, 2007

We are lucky in Las Vegas to have access to buffets. These places where you can go and get all the food that you can eat in one sitting is simply a great thing. We got comped to the Sunset Buffet which used to be one of my favorite spots to visit for all you can eat food. Let me tell you, times they are a changing.

Since the Red Rock Casino was built the Sunset Station, being one of the sister casinos, has done a little overhauling. They have changed their buffet to match the other casinos in the chain. Now we have been to the Red Rock Stations Buffet a couple times and they have some great food there. But the Sunset seems to have lost a bit of their flare. They used to be one of the great buffets in the city but now it seems that they have dumbed it down a little.

They still have good food .. that has not changed, but the selection of food has shrunk considerably. Maybe they are trying to save some money or perhaps they are moving in another direction with the selection but they are no longer on my top 10 casinos to buffet at any longer. This is a sad day for me as I used to love going there. I will say that they still have the hottest girls working there so that is a plus but we will probably not be eating there as often as we used to.

The Home Brew

Thursday, May 3rd, 2007

This is just a quick update on the whole home brewing situation. We found the kit that we are going to use and we hope that it gets here pretty fast because we are anxious to get started.

This is the first step for us to become a little more self sufficient. And I like the thought of making a beer that is to my taste and not having to drown my palette with that store bought crap.

The kit we are getting can be found on MakeBeer.net we will have to get a few other supplies and a few of them we have around the house but for the most part we are well on our way to home brewing.

PodCasting

Wednesday, March 14th, 2007

We are thinking about making a podcast site for our ramblings. We want to create a site that we can do podcasting on like one of our friends does. It sounds like a good idea and a lot of work at this point. We have so many projects that we are working on and that is getting a little overwhelming. But maybe something fun will take away some of the stress of working like a slave all day.

We have been working on sites to create blogs for working online. We want to attract advertisers with our blogs so that we can do things like PayPerPost and get paid to write about the things we love. Everyone else is doing it so why can’t we? PayPerPost seems to be working for us with our other blogs and soon enough we may enter this one into the PPP competition.

We love to write if you can’t tell and we sure would like it if all of our blogs where on some kind of payed advertising for reviews. We love to review websites and write about them in our own words. Chelle has been using my blogs for a while now and she is doing pretty good with making a little extra money from blogging. Enough to support me buying more URLs anyway. And we can easily pay for our hosting every month. We would really like to get into it hardcore though. I have seen some of the people on PPP making hundreds a day and that is where we want to be.

I wanted this blog to be a little higher in the rankings before I submit it for approval for paid posting but I think I am getting a little anxious to get started now. But I wil stick to my guns and wait it out to see if Google indexes again and hooks me up with some Google love and I get some Alexa love before then. Maybe in a few months.

For now I will concentrate on the podcasting and see where that takes us.

Christmas is Upon Us

Friday, December 8th, 2006

Why oh why are we giving presents again this year? When is the tradition of spending every dime you have on a holiday going to ever end?

We are turning to Ebay this year for some of our Christmas shopping. Last year we found some really unique gifts for Dad that he loved and we couldn’t find them anywhere locally. Good thing for the internet right? The kids are a little hard to shop for because they change their minds so much and so fast.

We wanted to get little man a V-Smile portable game system for his main present this year but he wanted a Game Boy up until about a week ago. Now he wants the V-Smile Portable which at this point is going to be murder to find. When we started to get him one he said no no no and he wanted a Game Boy so we said ok .. we will wait a few weeks and pray that there are some left just in case. Luckily for him there is one store in Vegas that has one and it is on hold for us till Chelle gets there to pick it up in a few minutes.

Thats right, shes out shopping and I’m holding down the fort and blogging about it. Woot!

There is very little precious time left for us to blow every cent that we have on presents so I better get back to what I’m good at .. online shopping. I really can’t wait to get Christmas day here so I can see the look on his face. Last year he got Penguin Tub Toys and almost lost his mind. Kids are so material these days. Sheesh.

Early Out

Friday, August 18th, 2006

Can I take an early out today? I want to get home and see whats for dinner. I’m starving. I need to get some food in me soon or I think I’m going to pass out. Not really but I have been working on finding some cool links to write about for hours now and I forgot to take lunch.

I seem to be getting sidetracked lately with searching the web and not finding what I am looking for. I usually use Google as a rule of thumb they seemed to have the best search results of any of the search engines or the other ones are pulling their results from Google anyway so why not just go straight to the source of information.

These kinds of long days make for short posts. I wanted to make everything I write about nice and full of content so that when I get indexed I get indexed for plenty of content. It seems that there are some search engines that like that sort of thing. So in a few minutes I am going to head home and come back tomorrow. Maybe I will go home and find some cool sites to write about but I bet I will just eat and hit the other blogs and get some writing done there.

There is a cool show on tonight anyway that I have been wanting to see so maybe that is in the agenda for this evening.
